I hope they call me on a mission (or at least my lil' brother for now)

Last Wednesday, May 2, marked an important day in the Bateman household. The white envelope arrived at 7 am and the poor boy had to wait until 6 pm. But in the meantime, we all placed our very educated guesses, as you can see...

 

And the winner is.... Philippines Iloilo! 

 No one saw that one coming. As you can see, nobody guessed anything in all of Asia. But we're all very excited, especially Collin. I even think my mom is warming up to the idea. He'll be speaking the Hilgaynon language and he leaves on his 19th birthday--August 8th. But until then, he'll be dreaming of the tropical paradise he will call home for 2 years and cruising around the farm on his undersized Trail-90 motorcycle. 

Missionary--(noun) Someone who leaves their family for a short time, so that others may be with their families for eternity.
